If you look real closely you can see some classic side-scrolling gameplay in-- what's that? Oh, hello Alucard. It's been a while.

I might be in love with this game, if I could understand it at all.

I have nothing clever to say about this, either.

Everybody's thinking it, so I'll say it -- this is Uncharted: Star Wars. And I'm perfectly happy with that.
I'd be lying if I said the run-and-gun mark-and-execute action didn't excite me -- if it all actually works, this fluid shooting dynamic could be pretty excellent. But given my experience with Conviction, I'll want some more assurances about the "actually works" part.

Rock Pikmin? Cool, I guess. Ant-style bridge building? Neat effect-- whoa, where did all these other captains come from? Yeah, now I'm curious.
Honestly? I dunno about this one yet. Uncharted is an easy sell for its Indiana Jones adventuring and its Hollywood flair -- this beast is darker and more tortured, and at the same time presents the kind of resource-limited gameplay scenarios that I just find frustrating.
I'll be keeping my eyes open, though.

Why yes, I think I might like this very much.
Whatever my misgivings about the franchise -- this one's for 'Murika.
